How does this whole memory thing work I mean considering my spec, Macbookpro i7 2.5ghz 8gb ram memory 1gb ram Nvidia graphic card, could you say that for example I am rendering 200 frames and for the first frame which will be frame 0 all the memory will be used correct? that is all the 8gb ram plus the 1gb ram graphic card plus some processor requirements, now once frame 0 is done and we enter frame 1 to render will all the memory be cleared so that it can start working on frame 1 a new? is that how it works? or are we talking about those requirements I wrote up there for the whole 200 frames? Now I am no expert but what does running out of application memory truly mean, is it because I am over doing it by checking every single render pass out there and thus its too much for the computer? also sometimes I get in the picture viewer that a 32 bit image is being rendered even though I have chosen to only render in 16 bits, is this because the some render passes only accept 32 bit? Now unless I use team render to help my main machine with the rendering using another PC I get a message saying that the application as run out of memory and cant go on, the window gives me the options of either force quit or resume the application after sometime, one can try to resume but at the end you end up having to force quit due to the lack of memory. Recently I have been rendering or to say it better trying to render a 1280x720 image at 16bits a PSD, I have also checked all the render passes, that is I am rendering all the possible available Multipasses with a couple of object buffers as well.
